Transforming Children in Christ Through His Church

Every Child. Every Church. Every Generation.

Israel, listen! Our God is the Lord! Only the Lord!

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your being, and all your strength.  These words that I am commanding you today must always be on your minds.  Recite them to your children. Talk about them when you are sitting around your house and when you are out and about, when you are lying down and when you are getting up.  Tie them on your hand as a sign. They should be on your forehead as a symbol. Write them on your house’s doorframes and on your city’s gates.

EGM believes that there is an urgent need
to help children’s leaders in the work
of discipling the next generation.

"Something for the Kids"

Kids are used to a formal education structure, fun and games, and big group experiences. These are common ways of attracting kids and getting them engaged. But are they effective in teaching a kid to follow Christ?

vs
Transformational Teaching

Discipleship does not happen because of a curriculum, a program, or a strategy. These are tools that are used to connect and inform. Discipleship happens person to person and produces a transformed life. This is the gospel way.

How We Serve

Concepts

While most churches have a program for children, making an intentional effort to disciple children may be a new concept. We want to help the church in the US make transformational discipleship the priority in every church with a particular focus on the next generation.

Content

Bible based content is an essential tool for discipling children into transformation, but is sometimes hard to find. We want to produce content and curriculum that aligns with our training model in resourcing next generation leaders and volunteers for effective ministry.

Coaching

Training is helpful, but leaders usually need further assistance in order to implement a new way of ministry. We want to start by training leaders and then supporting them with quality coaching that strengthens ministry impact.

Convening
Children’s ministry leaders need encouragement, connection, and nurture to continue being effective in ministry. We want to gather children’s pastors and ministry leaders for connectivity and collaboration in creating a discipleship movement in the US.

Discipleship is an intentional act of ministry that needs ‘disciplers’ who are called, trained, engaged, and supported in their work with the next generation so that life transformation occurs.
